Our Philanthropy

Vistas for Children is proud to award grants to deserving nonprofits that serve the children of our community.

Vistas for Children is proud to award deserving organizations in the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles area.  We appreciate the valuable work they are providing to the children and families in our community.

These organizations share the values and mission of Vistas for Children, and provide needy children within our community with food, shelter, crucial medical treatment and/or counseling and rehabilitative services.

Each spring, charitable organizations that share the values and principles of Vistas for Children are invited to submit a Grant Application. These applications are carefully screened by our Grant Review Committee with a four-tiered grant review and approval process.

Grant Applications

Each year, Vistas for Children receives numerous grant requests.  They range from purchasing specialized instruments for blind children to funding medical equipment to keep newborns alive.  Vistas for Children considers every part of the applicant’s organization:  budget, number of paid staff, how the money will be spent, and number of children the grant affects.  One of our goals is to see that the grant has an impact on the organization.

  • Grant applications are accepted each year between February 1st and April 1st
  • Grants are approved and awarded by June 1st
